Ramesh Hariharan — Founder and President
Has more than 20 years experience in the Information Technology
industry. Has a Masters' degree in electrical power systems from
Osmania University in India. Has designed and developed SCADA/EMS
systems for use in Electric Utilities, Railways, Airports, etc.
Has held senior management and technical positions in BRI and CMC.
He has a passion for providing software services with emphasis in
timely and cost-effective delivery.
Joseph Moless — Advisor for Legal Support Services
Is the Dean of Lincoln Law School of San Jose, California
since the year 2000. He received a BA in Political Science
in 1960 from San Jose State College and UC Berkeley, and
an LL.B in 1965 from Hastings College of the Law. He has four
decades of rich experience in the Legal industry, including time
as a Law Clerk for eminent Judges, Founder/ Attorney for various
law firms (ex: Turrone, Moless & Komar; Moless, Chavez, Sullivan
& Brinton).
Mr. Moless has been a visiting faculty member
for many years at the USF School of Law, University of
Santa Clara, Golden Gate University, and San Jose State
University etc. He has been involved in several prestigious
professional activities including Chairman of Lawyer's club
in Santa Clara Bar Association, Member of Arbitration Panel
in Santa Clara County Superior Court etc.
Dr. Ramu Ramanathan — Advisor — Technology
Is a dynamic Senior Executive with broad experience in solving the
organizational, technology and business problems of small, mid-sized
companies and large companies. Developed and maintained high growth
businesses through strong strategic planning, hiring right people,
team building, technical skills, marketing and sales skills. Strong
developer of new business areas and market focus.
Dr. Ramanathan has been instrumental in winning and executing several
multi-million dollar contracts. A results-oriented, team player with
proven leadership abilities. He focuses constantly on innovating and
leveraging technologies to improve quality and productivity of
business processes.
Ramu holds a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech
and has held senior positions in Boeing, Ferranti International
Controls, CEGELEC ESCA, National Systems & Research and CIBER.
He has a solid technical experience and has authored more than 25
technical papers. He is a senior member of the IEEE, is a
Professional engineer and certified Project Management
Professional.
Dr. Ram Adapa — Advisor for Legal Support Services
Joined the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), Palo
Alto, California in June 1989. At EPRI, he is currently
Technical Manager, Increased Power Flow, in the Power System
Assets, Planning, and Operations (PSAPO) area of Power Delivery
& Markets Sector. As a Product Line Leader, he developed
the research portfolio for Grid Operations and Planning areas
as well as business plans to execute this research portfolio.
This portfolio focuses on both operations and planning tools
that are needed in a deregulated utility environment. Some of
these tools include market restructuring, transmission pricing,
ancillary services, and security tools to maintain the reliability
of the grid.
Dr. Adapa is a Senior Member of the IEEE Power Engineering Society;
member of several committees, past chairman of the local IEEE Santa
Clara Valley PES/IAS chapter, and winner of several prestigious
awards. He has authored / coauthored more than 125 technical papers
published in various technical journals. He is a Registered
Professional Engineer in the State of Wisconsin. Dr. Adapa
is also an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer under the IEEE
Distinguished Lecturer Program (DLP) and he is frequently
invited by IEEE PES chapters all around the world to deliver
DLP lecturers.
Dr. Adapa received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the
University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
Dr. Anil Pahwa — Honorary Technical Advisor
Is the head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at
Kansas State University (KSU). He received the Bachelor of Engineering
(Honors) degree in Electrical Engineering from Birla Institute
of Technology and Science, Pilani, India in August 1975; the M.S.
degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Maine at
Orono in May 1979 and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering
from Texas A & M University in December 1983.
Dr. Pahwa has been with KSU since August 1983. His main research
interests are
applications of intelligent computational methods and
advanced computer and communication technology in electricity
distribution systems to improve their efficiency,
reliability, and quality. He has worked on several projects
sponsored by Kansas Electric Utilities Research Program,
National Science Foundation, and industrial organizations.
